On My Radar Screen

Happy Friday! What are you up to this weekend? I am ready for this weekend - between squeezing five days of work into three, a four hour drive down to DC and the final planning for the shower, I am now officially ready to relax and enjoy my "Girls' Weekend". I will be driving home again on Sunday, hopefully arriving just in time to watch the Oscars.

With all that going on, I haven't had a lot of time to peruse the blogosphere, but here are a few things hitting up on my radar screen this week:

If you loved the Scottish scenery in the Downton Abbey finale, check out Inverary Castle where they filmed on location.

If the latest episode of Downton Abbey doesn't make you want to book the next flight for Edinburgh, this video just might. Too cute for words...

Are you ready for the Oscars on Sunday?

Wouldn't it be fun to be staying at a Bungalow at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Oscar Night? Or my favorite, the Beverly Wilshire?

Look familiar?

Oscar Trivia question - The dance contest in the movie Silver Linings Playbook takes place at a luxury hotel. Does anyone know which one?

If you haven't seen Silver Linings Playbook, it is a must see. I am guessing that Argo will win the Oscar for best picture, but my choice would be SLP.

Have a terrific weekend everyone...wherever you may be wandering.

Oh Sandy, that video with the ponies? I loved them in their little sweaters!!!!! OOOOO! But then I clicked on another video about the pony sanctuary. My eyes are filled with tears...

I could go on with my own commentary here, but I will rather, delight in the joy of the day. Thank you for bringing a smile to my face. Anita

Congrats! I nominated you for the Liebster Blog Award. You can find out all about on this Thursday's post.

I loved both Argo and SLP, so I will be very happy if either one wins. And the hotel looks like the Jefferson but I know that's not right...

The photo of the stunning castle definitely makes me want to visit Scotland again and I have heard so many good things about Silver Linings that I shall have to see it soon.

The setting at Inverary Castle for Dowton Abbey was so enchanting. It would be fabulous to watch the Oscars at the Beverley Hills Hotel. May the best Movie and Actors win. Happy Weekend!

I would LOVE to visit Scotland and have never been, on my list of places to see especially after the show! And yes one year we were in LA during the Oscars and the buzz and energy in the city was palpable....so exciting!!
Enjoy all your "busy-ness" safe travels and have a great weekend.
Yes I too loved SLP...saw it twice!!

I really would love to see Bradley Cooper win but I am not thinking he will Would be a great surprise for sure! I will be renting SLP when it comes out on dvd. Looking forward to seeing Anne Hathaway win, hoping there isn't an upset. Hope your weekend is going well!!
